How Lashes and Brows Changed My Life: From Stay-at-Home Mom to Thriving Beauty Pro

For 10 years, I was a dedicated stay-at-home mom. It was everything I ever wanted, but somewhere along the way, I lost myself. My days were filled with taking care of my family, and while I loved it, I realized I had let go of something important—my sense of self.

That all changed when I discovered lash extensions. It might sound simple, but for me, it was the catalyst that reignited my passion and gave me a new purpose. I knew instantly that this could be “my thing.”

I assumed my esthetic license would allow me to dive right in, so I got trained—though I use the term "trained" loosely because, well, that’s a story for another day. But I was eager to start, and before long, I was offering services out of my home.

It didn’t take long for my neighbor to notice the steady stream of clients coming and going. After a few months, she commented, “Amber is making money hand over fist.” And she wasn’t wrong—I was earning extra income, but more importantly, I was good at something again.

This wasn’t just about wiping noses and bums anymore. I had found something I was truly passionate about, something that gave me confidence and reminded me of who I was outside of being a mom.

And that was just the beginning of how lashes and brows changed my life. What started as a small venture out of my house became a journey of personal growth and empowerment. Now, I help other beauty pros find their own path to success, just like I did.
